Peter Lancashire Photography offers a fully digital photography service. This differs in many ways from traditional photography. Rather than a set of prints, the photographs are presented to you as a set of digital images on a DVD. The images can then be displayed in an album, presented as a ‘story book’, published on a web site, or turned into a variety of keepsakes for your guests. I release the copyright on the images, which means that you can do with them whatever you wish and do not need to order your prints from Peter Lancashire Photography if you do not wish to.
The cost of Peter Lancashire Photography for your big day is £550**. This includes an initial consultation, the opportunity to discuss your individual requirements before the day and attendance at the Wedding or Civil Partnership for approximately 6 hours. I will take a large selection (at least 200) of formal and informal photos, which will be presented to you on a DVD or a set of CDs. The price includes any additional work to the photographs such as special effects like black & white, sepia or partially coloured pictures.
For a smaller event lasting up to 3 hours, the cost is £395**. This service may be more appropriate for a registry office ceremony or where there is only a small number of guests. The quality of the photos however, is the same. This service is only suitable for a wedding where the ceremony and reception are in the same venue, as 3 hours does not allow enough time to cover two venues. (Not available on July or August Saturdays)
** For weddings taking place in the Lake District, or more than 50 miles from Wigan, an additional charge of £50 is payable to cover travel costs, though I still remain competetive compared with many Lake District based photographers. Weddings in Manchester and Liverpool city centres cost £10 extra.
